Complete Timeline (Nov 2025 – Aug 2026)

Hi everyone,

Many students have questions about Accenture's Early Onboarding process and complete Training Process, so I wanted to share my experience. This is my journey till 7 July 2026.

Phase 1: Primer Training

Training Start Date: 20 April 2026

The first phase was the Primer Training. We were assigned learning modules, where 4 modules were mandatory and we had to choose 3 additional modules.

Mandatory Modules

• Web Development
• Software Fundamentals
• Generative AI
• Agile & DevOps

Modules I Chose

• Java
• MySQL
• AWS

We were given 20 days to complete all the learning modules.

Primer Assessment

After completing the modules, there was an MCQ assessment.

• 20 Questions
• Questions were a mix of all the assigned modules.
• Minimum passing score: 12/20

Phase 2: Delivery Learning

Duration: 20 May 2026 – 30 May 2026

After clearing the primer assessment, the Delivery Learning phase started.

At the end of this phase, Accenture gave us two options:

1. Stream Training (minimum 2 months)
2. Pre-Onboarding Assessment

My assigned stream was Java Full Stack + Generative AI, and I chose the Pre-Onboarding Assessment option.

Pre-Onboarding Assessment

To clear the pre-onboarding process, it was mandatory to pass all three stages.

Round 1: MCQ Assessment

Date: 2 June 2026

• Topic: Java Full Stack + Generative AI
• 50 Questions
• Duration: 75 Minutes
• Minimum Qualifying Score: 60%

Round 2: Practical Assessment + Viva Voce

Practical Assessment Date: 9 June 2026

• Duration: 120 Minutes
• Included a hands-on coding assessment.
• Minimum Qualifying Score: 60%

Viva Voce

Date: 11 June 2026

• Duration: 20 Minutes

The interviewer mainly discussed my hands-on project and asked a few Spring Boot questions, including:

• Explain your project.
• What does @RequestParam do?
• What is @RestController?
• What is @Transactional?
• A few other basic Java and Spring Boot questions.

Round 3: Capstone Project + Viva Voce

Project Duration: 24 June – 30 June 2026 (5 Working Days)

For the Capstone Project:

• A Java backend project was already provided.
• I had to complete the missing backend functionality.
• Develop the complete frontend from scratch using React.
• Integrate the frontend with three microservices.
• Ensure the complete application worked correctly.

Capstone Viva

Date: 7 July 2026

• Duration: 15 Minutes

The interviewer first asked me to enter custom data into the application and verify that everything worked correctly without generating any errors.

Then I was asked the following questions:

1. How do you create an object to demonstrate runtime polymorphism?
2. What are the different types of @Autowired injection?
3. Why do we use Spring Data JPA when JPA already exists?
4. What is the @Modifying annotation?

Current Status

This is my journey till 7 July 2026.

One interesting thing I noticed is that stream training has already started for everyone, including students who chose the Pre-Onboarding Assessment option. So even if someone doesn't clear a particular assessment, they can still continue with the stream training while completing the remaining mandatory stages.

As of now, clearing every Pre-Onboarding stage is mandatory to successfully complete the Early Onboarding process.

I hope this post helps future candidates understand the complete Early Onboarding process. I'll update this post whenever I receive further updates.

Update

9 July 2026: Received the Capstone Project result (Qualified).

11 July 2026: Received the Gear Up Day email.
