Hi everyone i was recently interviewed for swe role at visa , below is my interview experience:

16 December 2025 - Applied for SWE Performance Engineering role through career portal and was contacted by recruiter for previous compensation details and OA link.

19 December 2025 - Received positive feedback on OA and 1st round of interview was scheduled.

22 December 2025 - 1st round of interview covered basic intro from my side, projects discussion, and one dsa question(search in rotated sorted array).

24 December 2025 - 2nd round was scheduled after positive feedback from 1st round, but due to lockdown and holidays this round was rescheduled to 8th jan 2026.

8th jan 2926 - 2nd round covered basic intro, projects and few behavioral aspects , few coding questions around api fetching, some system design question and one dsa question(did not remember this one).

10th jan 2026 - 3rd round commenced with the hiring manager discussion on previous work experience, had discussion on performance testing and various aspects, received feedback from this round that candidate is suited best for development role.

14th jan 2026 - HR contacted me again and passed on the feedback from HM round and rescheduled all the interviews for development role.

20th jan 2026 - 1st round of interview scheduled with HM, discussion around prev experience, projects, and one DSA(word break problem).

24th jan 2026 - 2nd round of interview scheduled involving dicussion around GENAI, basic system design principles, one dsa(number of islands).

3rd feb 2026 - 3rd round of interview scheduled involving discussion of GENAI, prev work exp, one dsa and one follow up(max non adjacent coin collection) and follow up was similar to circular house robber problem.

4th feb 2026 - HR contacted me and shared the offer letter after collecting all the basic documents and govt id.
