Interview Experiences
Round 1
The round was DSA but seems like machine coding to me. The interviewer asked me some wierd question where he wanted me to write script which runs on the root folder and tells how many types of extention files are there, total size of each extention last updated file path for each extention and time also. Some sort of these properties. He want me to write and run in java. By sharing the screen It was the good and different experience in the interview. As I had limited time to do so. It was the crux of the question, as the question was in STAR fashion and good amount of english in it.
Round 2
This round was HLD round , it started with intro and expectation from the role as they were new team. He asked me to design the Kanban system, but he was more interested in the frontend aspect. As the interiewer was Frontend experience. Then he asked me implemet the drag and drop feature. How it happens.
Round 3
This was the Bar Raiser Round. It was the great experience in the interview. It was more of LLD sort and solutioning round in terms of discusion. The interviewr was Staff Engineer in Google in past. He wanted me to design the my own Kafka. He was asking very granular lvl of question to memory and performance management. Like how would u configure the push v/s poll. All those stuffs in very much details. But had a good discusion.
