Microsoft vs PayPay Japan

Hi All,
Recently had an offer from PayPay Japan and microsoft.

YoE : ~6 yrs
Previous Comp: 44 fixed + 3 joining bonus + 2.5L yearly ESOPS

Microsoft Offer:
Base : 40 LPA
Joining Bonus : 3L
Stocks : 90K USD -> 19LPA
Total Comp : 62 LPA first year, 59 LPA second year onwards

The competing offer from PayPay Japan:
JPY 9 million per year i.e. 53.75 LPA INR + relocation : 900K JPY i.e. 5.3L JPY
Totalling 59.13LPA first year and 53.75 second year.

The overall CTC is higher in Microsoft and PayPay Japan would require me to move near Tokyo where living cost is 3-4x.

Financially, microsoft offer looks better but moving to Japan offers better living standards and change of way of life(I've worked for 3 years in Bengaluru).

  • The idea of moving to a city with higher living standards and having a higher base pay are attractive i.e. comparing Tokyo Japan(tax breaks on first year pay) to Bengaluru(no roads, infra).
  • PayPay gives 4-10% raises to employees and incentive in top 90% rated among the team, bottom 10% may get reduced pay or will be asked to leave i.e. URA/PiP like Amazon.
  • Microsoft doesn't give a lot of raises but the pay is ~60 for the first 4 years.
  • From glassdoor, it looks like at PayPay, work may be little competitive while Microsoft is known for retaining employees long-term.

Would anyone from the same company or similar background help me in quickly navigate the two offers?
