Hi , I recently interviewed for an L3 position at Google and would like to get feedback from fellow Googlers regarding my interview experience.
Note:- All the ratings(SH/LH/H) I mentioned below are from my experience only, not from recruiter.
Current Experience:- 1.6 Yrs (Software Engineer at Service Based Company)
Applied:- Recruiter reached out to me.
Phone Screening:- SH ( I solve complete problem without any hint and solved follow ups as well)
After the phone screening, I received feedback from HR saying that it was positive, and they wanted to move forward with the onsite interviews.
Onsite Round 1:- SH ( I solved the problem without hints, initially i give PBDS approach for which he said if I use PBDS I have to implement its function as well otherwise i have to change approach, then i solve it using other DS with TC and code, no followups).
Onsite Round 2:- H/LH ( I got stuck midway. Unfortunately I missed a hint in the problem constraints, and interviewer said I was close. But, after the hint, I solved the problem completely, including the code and time complexity.)
Onsite Round 3:- H/LH (I explained my approach and code it as well, but stuck on Time Complexity, wasted some time, then give final TC and he was satisfied with it, then solve 1 followup with code and TC, but he said he have one more followup which he couldn't ask due to time constraints).
G&L Round:- SH/H (The interviewer asked me general HR Questions and was satisfied with my answers, I believe it should be a SH).
Can anyone with experience provide feedback on whether I should expects a call for the next steps?
