I had my Amazon Luxembourg SDE internship interview on November 28th, and about a week later, I received an email from HR informing me that I had cleared the interview. However, they mentioned that they are unable to provide visa sponsorship outside of Germany (I am currently pursuing my master's in Germany).
When I followed up to clarify, they explained that I no longer need to apply actively for other positions and that they will contact me if any future opportunities become available in Germany.
Has anyone else experienced something similar with Amazon or other companies? What are the chances of them actually reaching out in the future?
