Recruiter reached out to me for an onsite interview for Senior Software Engineer role at Myntra.
The interview was scheduled on 15th Oct, 2024.
There were around 15-20 candidates for the onsite interview in Myntra's BLR office that day.
Round 1 - DSA (45 min)
- Repeated pattern in a string
- Peak in an array
Surprisingly, it was a pen and paper round
Round 2: Problem solving (75 min)
- Discussion on projects from resume
- Prefix sum problem (range update)

I tried to jump to optimal solution directly, so the interviewer was able to ask so many questions in 1 round. (Shouldn't have done that)
After this, I was told that I have cleared both the rounds, but since I have less then 3 yrs of Experience, I won't be considered for SSE role, and they would evaluate me for SWE role only.
Round 3: HM round (1 hr) [This round took place virtually after few days]
- Discussion about resume and projects
- Role was for Data platform team, so questions related to kafka as I had mentioned it in my resume
- Standard HR questions at the end.
Round 4: HR round (15 min)
Standard HR questions
After completing, all 4 rounds, I was told by the recruiter, that the feedback is positive and I am selected. He would give me a call for salary discussion within few days.
However, till today, I haven't heard anything from them. I tried calling the recruiter multiple times, but they never pick the call.
Overall a really bad experience.
