Google | SSE Machine Learning (L5) | Team Matching [Query]

Hi Everyone,

I recently finished my interview process for Senior ML Engineer (L5) at Google. Following are my feedback,

Coding Round 1 Hire
Coding Round 2 Lean Hire
Coding Round 3 Strong Hire
ML Design Round Lean Hire
Googlyness Round Hire

After last interview, within a week, I had one team matching round with one of the HM, he was also expecting software engineering experience as well while most of my experience is in Machine Learning Modeling, therefore he declined.

I have following queries, would appreciate your opinion guys,

1. Do I have a chance to pass HC (according to HR I may need to give additional ML design round) ?
2. Do I have a chance for team matching as ML Engineer, since most of my experience is in ML modeling, do HM accepts candidates who doesn't have strong experience in software engineering ?
3. Also I see lots of posts where Software engineers are stuck in team matching phase for few months, Is it same situation for ML engineeris or are they hiring ML engineers actively ?
