I gave an interview with Goldman Sachs for the role of associate , and gave my second dsa round , which was a part of loop rounds of 3 .
i was given two questions
Check if the given binary tree has a sub-tree with equal no of 1’s and 0’s
and
There is a continuous steam of integers, you are supposed to find the median of the stream dynamically.
e.g.
1 2 3 4 5 6 -> Median is 3.5
3 2 1 4 5 -> Median is 3
I was able to answer both of them pretty well with follow ups , but suprisingly they rejected me after the round and HR refused to give me the feedback .
Seriously , What's wrong with him as a company and they even didn't mention what possibly went wrong . This interview experience with Goldman has to be my worst experience till date .
