I wanted to share my recent experience interviewing at Goldman Sachs.
Initial interview call to offer timeline spanned Novemeber 2023 to April 2024.
Round 1 (Novemeber) - Hackerrank, recruiter reached out for Coderpad after a week
Round 2 (December) - Coderpad, got confirmation after 2 days that I have passed and moved on to the next round but based on hiring needs, next round would have delay in scheduling. After this was the longest gap, followed up with recruiter through January and February and was told there were no updates yet. Finally followed up with recruiter in March when she immediately scheduled my superday.
Round 3 (March) - Superday, Three back to back rounds, consisted of DSA, System Design and resume based questions. Also included general technical and behavarioul questions.
After this, I got an email and a call the next morning with a verbal offer, following which I received a written offer two weeks later. This was for an Analyst Software Engineer position.
