Round 1 (1.5 hours) :- Quantitative and Logical Ability Test

  • It was an online test.
  • The test had four sections
  • Section 1 :- Speaking Skills and Vocab
  • Section 2 :- Quantitative Aptitude
  • Section 3 :- Logical Ability
  • Section 4 :- Programming Ability
In this round there were around 30-40 questions which were based on concepts of OOPs. In addition to that there were questions based on syntax of programming languages (C/C++ and Java).
This round was basically easy and tested your time management ability as well as a quick response mechanism.

Round 2 (45 mins) :- Technical Round

This was a personal interview with one of the head engineers. He seemed quite chilled and asked me about my day. Later he went on asking about implementing various data structures in my daily life and how can we optimize it.
For example:- Before this round I just had my lunch, so he asked me about the data structure that can be seen in our College mess.
**I replied that in the Chapati corner, we observe the concept of First in Last Out as the Chapati was being made and stored in a container, so the Chapati which was made first would enter first and will be taken at last as it will in the bottom of the container. **
I still don't know from where did this example came into my mind.
I was asked to implement a tree traversal algorithm for printing all the internal nodes.
Some questions on DBMS regarding triggers and views which were pretty basic.

Round 3 (45 mins) :- Technical Round

The round started with basic questions from OOPS (like polymorphism, abstraction) and from there we moved on to data structures. There was a question for string manipulation in which I had to remove a character from a string and store back the new string in the same variable. There was another question regarding BFS.

Round 4:- HR Round
This round was pretty short and we talked about my habits and passions. I was asked the usual questions like why should we choose you over other candidates and a couple more similar to this for which I had already prepared well in advance :P

Well that was it. My first interview and luckily cracked it!!
Hope you like it although it was nothing special :P
