Phone screen (1 hour scheduled, only took 20-30 minutes):
- Basic questions about resume and experience.
- No technical questions
Technical Interview (1 hour):
- Resume review and questions about past experience (40 minutes)
- One coding question, simpler version of https://leetcode.com/problems/time-based-key-value-store/ (15 minutes)
- Open floor for questions (5 minutes)
Result: Rejected.
Notes: Frequent pauses during the interview so they could respond to pings. Coding question was made by them but needs refinement. The examples provided had incorrect output. Contradicting / impossible logic in the problem statement had to be fixed. Pretty simple question though. Process overall was quick and easy but interviewers were not focused on the interview.
