Round 1: Hiring Manager Round [1 hr]
General Introduction from both side, few behavioural questions regarding conflicts management, most difficult project etc.
1 DSA question was asked in last 25 mins.
Question was based on Array and 2 pointer. Difficulty level - LC Medium
Round 2: Coding Round [1 hr]
2 DSA questions were asked in this round.
1st question was based on prefix and suffix array. Difficulty Level - LC Medium
2nd question was standard 2D Dynamic Programming question on Matrix. Difficulty Level - LC Medium
Round 3: Project + Coding [1 hr]
Interviewer was very senior staff engineer at Nutanix. First half of the round was the project discussion. I was asked questions regarding how deployment happens in kubernetes and how does new pod comes on kubernetes. He also went in-depth regarding query planner, Golang new features in latest version, What is the use of generics in Golang, Questions around indexing. Overall discussion was very random and interviewer kept on interrupting in middle to save time as discussion is only for 30 mins.
The second half was a coding question - Kth largest element in Binary Search tree. Interviewer was expecting constant space solution.
Round 4: System Design [1 hr]
Was asked to design HLD of Observability system. The interviewer was very helpful and was keeping the discussion going.
Recruiter ghosted after all rounds, Called recruiter for feedback 2 times. Recruiter told they will get back. Overall interview experience was good, Project and System Design round Interviewers was expecting very in-depth knowledge in all areas.(System architecture, Programming language Theory and features, Database, Focus on monitoring and observability)
