I have recently appeared for Juspay interviews for SDE Intern+FTE position.
The selection process looks like:
- OA round
- Tree of Space (Part A)
- Tree of Space (Part B)
- System interview
- HR round
let's take a look at them one by one.
Online Assesment:
There are 3 problems asked in this round regarding Graph data structures and algorithms.
I was asked
Q1)Nearest-Meeting-Cell
Q2) Largest-Sum-Cycle
Q3) Maximum-Weight-Node
You have to score 180+ marks from 300 to get to the next round.

System Interview:
In this round, They can ask anything literally.
You can expect questions around
- CS fundamentals(OS,DBMS,CN)
- DSA
- System Design(LLD and concepts for HLD such as load balancing, sharding,Replication, proxy, CDN,etc).
I was aksed questions about my projects like how you implemensted a particular endpoint in your API and how JWT Authentication will work and much more.
There were few questions on OS like context switching in a single core machine, clock speed, CPU cycles, etc.
After that i was aked 1 DSA question which i aswerd smoothly. Que
At last i was asked a very strange question and i was not able to answer it,
The question goes like: You have a keyboard of 100 keys, how you will send the data on keypress to motherboard? What is the min wires needed to send that data?
I aswered 7 wires, because 2^7 = 128 which just greater than 100 so every wire will represent a single bit.
but interviewer asked to minimize the number fo wires, i said one wire but we have to use a mechanism to send those bits from CPU to motherboard but she said we can't use any mechanism.
At this point i was confused and told her that i am not well versed with the concepts of Electrical eng.
I was exploring diff things and i asked for hints and she said consider the shape of keyboard 😶🌫️
20 min got wasted in this problem.
Idk what she was expecting.
If anyone knows the answer for above problems, please comment.
The last round depends upon the interviwer, so luck plays a important role 🤞🏻
Someone was asked only DSA and someone was asked LLD, and i was asked something strange 🥲.
Verdict: Rejected
Hope it helps :)
Best of luck
