Sprinklr | Product Engineering Intern | Gurugram | August 2023 [Offer]
I got an offer from Sprinklr on the first day of campus interviews. A little bit of background, I am a prefinal year student pursuing CSE in a tier-1 IIT. Here's a detailed walk-through of the entire interview process:
Online Assessment (OA)
Sprinklr shortlists candidates based on the performance in their OA. There were three questions, in which I was able to solve only the first two. For the third one (usually a very difficult question), all my peers submitted a brute-force solution which passed half of the test cases. Even though I wasn't able to submit the third question, I got shortlisted for the interview.
Rounds
There were 3 rounds, out of which the first 2 are technical, and finally a HR round.
Round 1
For the first 30 minutes of the interview, the interviewer emphasized on the projects I mentioned in my CV. I was particularly asked questions about a course project. I was asked to draw the entity-relationship diagram, entity and relation tables of the database that were used for the project.
Finally, a DSA question, which is of medium level. I figured out what data structure I would be needing, and I explained my solution approach on a shared IDE and implemented it at the end.
Round 2
At the beginning of the round, I was given a DSA question which is fairly hard. I explained my approach, and fortunately I was going in the right direction from the beginning. After a few minutes, I was able to arrive at the solution. I was not asked to implement it though. After solving, I was asked about my preference for backend and ML roles. I told them that I prefer backend as I have experience working on fullstack applications. After this, the emphasis was on the projects I mentioned on my CV. This round was fairly long. After almost an hour, I was given another DSA question, which is a leetcode (hard) question that I solved before. I explained my approach and the interview ended.
HR Round
The HR round was different from what I heard from my batchmates. I was not asked any behavorial questions, I was asked questions majorly regarding the company. This round was nearly 15 minutes long.
Verdict
After half an hour from the completion of my HR round, I got a call that I got the offer. It was a wonderful experience, I never felt nervous or tensed during the interview, the interviewers were friendly and the process was smooth.
My two cents: attend the Pre Placement Talk that every company conducts in campus, and make notes. Don't take the HR round for granted. It would be very hurtful to get rejected in the HR round after proving how smart you are in the technical rounds.
