Good luck with you interviews!! Dont give up!!! if you just starting out, this is your sign to keep grinding leetcode. I interviewed for a year before getting here. DONT EVER GIVE UPPPPPP!!!!
I interviewed with UBER but declined OFFER. Process lasted 2 months. Recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn.
1. "Discovery call" with recruiter. Lasted 30min i think.
* Deep dive into resume
* Discuss experience to check if you are right fit for the role
* Some behavarial questions nothing too tricky
2. Technical Phone screen with software engineer lasted 1h
- Regular intro, some background and then Leetcode medium
- Question was about a chest board, Leetcode 688
- Gave 5min to ask questions about Uber
3. Virutal Onsite: 4 Rounds
1. Behavarial interview they call: Collaboration, Citizenship, Operational Execution (Execution & Results), Efficiency & being a force multiplier (Creating Efficiency). This was with a hiring manager
2. DSA round 1: Leetcode 64
3. DSA round 2: Ddn't see quesion on leetcode but this was it. Given a 4 * 4 binary grid of integers where all rows are sorted. Find the first column that contains a 1. Obvious brute force was O(n) but interview ask to optimize. Logorithmic time.
4. System Design: Split in two parts
* First part is to discuss a problem you already solved. I explained my impact in full details and all the technical things I did during one of my project.
* Second part was with new problem. Interveiwer ask me to design a messaging app. Dont be alarmed by the system design rounds if you are new grad they just want to see how you think.
4. Received offer few days after Onsite:****
* Base: $128,250. (Non negotiable)
* Sign on: $25k (split in 2 years with clawback)
* Stocks: $95k for 4 years (35% first year// about $33k then. idk now cuz their stock price kept falling and it scared me lol)
* Bonus: $13.5k
* Relocation: $12k (This is only if you have to move 200miles away from your current home)
* TC First YEAR: $208K. (This was negotiated from $187k because I had competiting offers)
