Status: 4th year student at tier 1.5 university in India.
1st Round (DSA): This was a written test by the company. It had 1 DSA question (LC Medium) and there were 25 aptitude MCQs and 25 core subjects MCQs.
2nd Round (DSA): Around 50 students were shortlisted for the interview. 2 DSA questions were asked.
A little bit of DBMS was also asked (ACID prop., Normalisation)
We just had to explain the logic of the code.
->First non repeating character in a String.
->A medium level question on bit manipulation.
3rd Round (Core+Project) : Interviewer asked me my preferred coding language (JAVA) and asked me some questions on JAVA (Exception handling, Intefaces). He then asked me to talk about OOPs concepts with some practical example.
I had a MERN stack project so the interviewer asked me questions related to NodeJS, JavaScript.
->Is JavaScript single or multi threaded, explain event loop.
->NodeJS advantages
->React hooks.
The discussion concluded and I was selected for the HR round.
Round 4 (HR) : Basic behavioural questions.
Final Verdict : SELECTED :)
DS Algo is extremely important but your core subjects and projects should not be neglected.
