About myself
I have given the PRA for 2024 batch on mid December, and have scored 50/50 in coding, and 25/30 in MCQ. I have listed down the complete resources which I followed for PRA exam. It'll take nearly 5-10 days to complete based on your speed.
Syllabus & Sectional Weightage
This is for Hyderabad campus. It changes slightly based on region to region.
1st section of PRA is MCQs and 2nd section is Java Coding, and it has to be attempt in the same order.
MCQ
30 Questions in approx 30 mins-45 mins.
It includes UI(HTML, CSS, JavaScript), SQL, UNIX, Java (collections + theory + code output / error finding), Java Web (JDBC-Servlet-JSP)
Coding
2 Questions in nearly 1 hour
It can be attempt in any order.
1st Question (15 marks) - Easy based on Java collections.
2nd Question (35 marks) - Easy but very lengthybased on OOPs + Collections
Important Topics:
Class - Objects, Interface, Inheritance - Implements, Functions,
List --> {ArrayList, LinkedList},
Set --> {HashSet, LinkedHashSet, TreeSet},
Map --> {HashMap, LinkedHashMap, TreeMap}),
Sorting, Custom comparator in sorting, Lambda expressions.
Passing Criteria:
MCQ --> 24/30
Java Coding --> 35/50
Tips:
MCQs will be tougher to score, if you are familiar with coding. So, for that you can refer Previous Year PRA Question pdfs for MCQ and Coding which you can find on Google, and attempt mock PRA if possible.
Any suggestions/feedback will be appreciated. Fell free to comment your feedback or any question you have, I will try my best to answer as early as possible.
