They Had 3 Rounds ( 1 techinal repo based + 1 system design + 1 hr)
I was rejected in very first round ,but according to my experience in round 1 i was not expecting that.
so as soon i entered the round 1 meet, the interviewer shared a repo link and asked me to analysze the repo and then tell him the flow of whole api.
I figured this in ig 5-10mins as i have a great knowledge of web dev
After that he asked me to create a feature mentioned in readme,like he asked me the flow ,how i will do that and what changes in which file i will make
so as after analyzing it was easy to figure out where to make changes in repo and i explained him my idea and the files i will be changing....so like till this point he was satisfied enough ,he also asked me why to use this specific use state and how am i limiting the attributes,which part of code is doing what and i even answered them effeciently,but then comes last part
He asked me to use ai and make the feature,i took some code from ai and pasted it in files,but then a 404 error came,he asked me to debug it,like whats 400 errors are (ofc i know its client side error) but then he asked whats exactly 404,i wasnt aware of that part so he asked me to google that,but like still till end we had 15 mins exceeded but i want able to debug that properply,although i found the correct source of error too
so in feedback he said,he was satisfied with my performance,he liked how i analyzed the repo that fast nd all ( praising my dev skills ofc)...and said debugging was a bit off,but that wont be a big reason to reject
so i waited for my results
turns out i was rejected

like ofc,my seniors already informed me that this company is kind of off,like u cant predict anything and they dont even hire much...
but yeah i enjoyed the process and how i was able to revise my web dev
btw compensation was 17lpa,15.7 base ,1L bonus
