Hi everyone,
I recently appeared for the Amazon SDE-1 / Intern Round 1 interview (off-campus). I am sharing my experience to help the community with interview preparation and expectations.
Interview Flow
The interview duration was approximately 60 minutes. It started with a brief introduction, followed by questions on Amazon's Leadership Principles (LPs), and two Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) coding problems.
1. Leadership Principles (LPs) (~10 mins)
Behavioral questions based on Amazon's Leadership Principles were asked.
2. DSA Coding Questions (~50 mins)
The interviewer expected me to explain my approach, discuss brute-force vs. optimized solutions, analyze time and space complexity, and write clean code with proper edge-case handling.
