Process
OA → Round 1 (75 min machine coding) → Round 2 (45 min hiring manager).
Online Assessment
Two coding questions, medium CP level.
Round 1: AI-assisted Machine Coding (75 min)
Important: this is no longer DSA. The official guide came 2 days before and said: build a working project on your own machine, any language, in-memory or SQLite/MongoDB fine, chat-based AI allowed with screen shared (no agentic tools).
Problem types seen across campuses in this drive:
- Parking lot system (entities, entry/exit, slot allocation by vehicle type)
- Personal finance tracker (users, transactions, income vs expense summary REST API)
- Student attendance system with teacher/student roles and auth
- Movie booking (shows, seats, booking with seat-level concurrency)
- Spending limits service (pure in-memory, per-txn cap, rolling 24h cap, rolling 1h txn count,
authorize+getUsage)
Round 2: Hiring Manager (45 min)
Mostly conversational.
- Intro, then deep dive into whatever on your resume catches their interest.
- Resume project: architecture, why this stack, how does X work, what happens under concurrent use, what would you change
- Why backend, why this company, how do you use AI
No DSA, LLD diagrams.
What helped
- Asking people who interviewed recently.
Offer
6-month internship (Jan–Jun 2027), ~1L/month stipend.
FTE included: ~36L first year
