In a Google interview, I discussed my solution with the interviewer. He said it was optimal, I implemented it, and he confirmed it was optimal. He then gave a follow-up, which I solved and provided pseudocode plus time/space complexity.
Afterward, I checked online and found the optimal solution for the first question was O(n), matching my solution. However, the interviewer’s review mentions something completely different.
Should I raise this with the recruiter and ask for clarification?
