Hi Team,
Recently, I interviewed for a Backend Engineer role at Onehouse. I have 5.2 years of total experience.
The overall interview process included:
My interview feedback/results were:
After going through multiple technical rounds and putting significant time and effort into the process, I was ultimately rejected based on the Hiring Manager round.
What disappointed me the most was the communication from the recruiting team. Throughout the process, there was very little interaction or support. I had several questions between interview rounds, but I rarely received responses. Most communication was limited to scheduling interviews and eventually informing me about the rejection.
Regardless of the final outcome, candidates invest considerable time and effort in such an extensive interview process. Clear communication, timely responses, and better candidate support would have made a significant difference.
Unfortunately, this was one of the worst recruiting experiences I have had during an interview process.
