1st Round - LLD (coding)

Verdict - Rejected

The expectations are you should implement the code within the interview duration, after all discussions like requirements, entities, relationships and class design etc. Psudo code output, class diagram or how all functions interact won't be enough to pass.

What happened with me? -
I couldn't lock the scope in 5-10 mins. My whole interview went into discussion till class design, i couldn't proceed to write even a single line of code (ofcourse, stopped by interviewer all the times).

Interviewer was helpful, but lots of to and fro discussions lead to time wastage.

nitpick - the question clearly mentioned retries are out of scope. Interviewer explanation did involve implementing retry of 3, in case of failures. My feedback is interviewers should spend sometime before interview to understand the problem themselves first, then only should take LLD interviews.
