Recently received an Amazon SDE-2 offer. Sharing the compensation details anonymously since these posts helped me during my process as well.

Previous Compensation

Company: US-based Bank
Base: ₹21 LPA
Annual Bonus: ~₹2–3L
TC: ~₹23–24 LPA

Amazon SDE-2 Offer

Level: L5 / SDE-2
Location: Hyderabad
Base: ₹44 LPA

Joining Bonus

• Year 1: ₹19L
• Year 2: ₹15L

RSUs: 110 Amazon shares ( 5, 15, 45, 35)

Cash Compensation

Year 1: ₹44L + ₹19L = ₹63L + RSUs

Year 2: ₹44L + ₹15L = ₹59L + RSUs
