I recently gave an interview at Persistence for a software engineering position somwhere in mid July. Quicly sharing my experience and what I felt overall about the startup.

• First call - More of introductory call with someone from the team. The discussion will be mostly around resume and any past project.
• Second (Onsite) - Mostly questions around frontend or backend systems. They can range from lazy loading, codesplitting in frontend to indices in backend, kafka queue, concurrency control patterns in DB with locks.
• Third - Had round with couple of leadership team around, how would you go on building X? Y? and such.

Verdict: No

What I felt: I felt the leadeship team to be a bit weak as when I was talking to them. I have a personal bias to work in companies with very strong leadership team because that governs your growth and how will the startup develop its culture. This is more of personal opinion though.
