Got a call from the recruiter for the onsite interview in Chennai (It was a weekend).

Round 1 (DSA): Everyone was given the same question. The question is a variation of rotten Oranges.
Verdict: Selected

Round 2 (Database Design): Happened on the same day. it's a database design for a Ticketing system. Some questions on Kafka, Concurrency handling in DB. Went for 2hrs.
Verdict: Selected

Round 3 (Technical Interview/ HLD): It's a virtual round. Questions were on HLD of my previous project and my previous experiences and challenges.
Verdict: Selected

Round 4 (Techno Managerial round):
Questions were on your previous experience the interview lasted for 15mins and the interviewer got an another call so he closed the call and went away.
Verdict: Rejected

I was shocked with the response, cuz we just introduced each other and I was thinking it'll get rescheduled again. But got rejected.

A back story here is:
Round 4 was scheduled on a weekday for a Virtual round. The interviewer suddenly became interested to have an onsite interview just before an hour from the scheduled time on a WEEKDAY. As I was not in Chennai it got rescheduled to another day because I it was not possible for me to reach the office in 2 hours. I guess the interviewer got pissed off because of the reschedules and rejected me.

Make sure you either have Teleportaion powers or gonna use this interview for practice, when applying for IDFC FIRST Bank.
