Completed my Google L4 onsite and got an update from my recruiter:

• 2 onsite rounds and 2 virtual rounds
• 3 positive, 1 negative feedback

The recruiter said he’ll check with the hiring team to see if there’s a path forward, possibly through team matching, although he mentioned they could also decide not to move forward. He also said he can explore AI/ML openings, and I may need to take one additional interview if required.

Has anyone been in a similar situation?

• What usually happens with a 3 positive / 1 negative packet?
• Is an additional interview common?
• What are the chances of moving forward?

Would appreciate hearing from anyone who’s been through Google’s hiring process.
