I wanted to share an interview experience that has been quite different from any I've had before.
Over the last 3 months, I've gone through three separate interview loops with Adobe for different CS1 (Full Stack) teams.
The reason I was considered multiple times was because the feedback and overall verdict from my first interview loop were very positive. Unfortunately, the role itself was put on hold before the hiring process could be completed.
All three rounds went well, and every conversation felt positive. I was hopeful about the outcome.
Unfortunately, the position itself was put on hold.
Instead of closing my profile, the recruiter reached out again and mentioned that, based on the positive interview feedback, another team would like to interview me.
Once again, the discussions went well.
However, around the June 15 internal restructuring, this position was also put on hold.
The recruiter again came back, saying that because of the strong feedback from my previous interviews, another team wanted to evaluate my profile.
This time, I expected the technical round to be frontend-heavy. Instead, a large part of the discussion focused on backend system design. It wasn't the direction I had prepared for, and I didn't leave with the same confidence I had after the previous loops.
I'm currently waiting for the result, but I'm keeping my expectations realistic.
Overall, it's been a unique experience—three interview loops, three different teams, all because the earlier feedback was strong, but two positions were put on hold due to changing hiring plans.
