Hey everyone,

I recently finished my full interview loop for an L4 Software Engineer role at Google Bangalore.

The Initial Rounds (Confirmed Positive)
Technical Phone Screen (+ve): based on topoligical sort resolving dependency.

Googlyness & Leadership (+ve): Standard behavioral round focusing on cross-team collaboration, handling ambiguity, and conflict resolution. Recruiter confirmed this round was green as well.

The Onsite Loop (June 15th)
I was able to solve both primary problems along with their follow-ups independently, with clean code, and without any hints or help from the interviewers.

Round 1: Coding (45 Mins)
Problem : Based on Dijkstra, given set of flights their arrival,departure source and destincation. you have to find minimum time in which you can reach from source from destination. First question was if you can reach destincation by picking a given series of flights, if yes find minimum time.

Round 2: Coding (45 Mins)

Question : find longest increasing sequence whose difference is 1
followUP : find longest increasing sequence whose difference is atmost d

explained the approach for 1st interviewer was very satisfied and he asked not to code for intitial question. for 2nd he asked to code. solved it using segment tree and cordinate compression.

After interview i mailed (on 17th july) my recruiter for feedback , i got this reply

Hi xyz , I am writing to inform you that moving forward, your candidature will be managed by [New Recruiter] (CC'd). [New Recruiter] will be your primary point of contact who will guide you through the upcoming interview process at Google. It was wonderful connecting with you. Wishing you good luck!

Post that i mailed to my new recruiter, didn't get any response yet.

My Takeaways & Next Steps
It has been over a week since the onsites, and the wait is easily the most stressful part of the entire process! However, given that the screening and Googlyness rounds were positive and the onsites went perfectly without any external help, I am staying optimistic that the delay is just due to internal packet assembly, calibration, or team-matching coordination at the Bangalore office.
