I’m preparing for an upcoming Software Engineering interview with LinkedIn, and one of the rounds is an AI-enabled coding interview.

Since this format is relatively new to the industry, I would love to get some insights from anyone who has recently gone through this process or conducts these types of interviews.

Specifically, I’m curious about:

The Format: What does the general environment and question structure look like?

Testing: Are candidates expected to write and execute their own test cases?

The Task: Is the focus mostly on writing code from scratch, or does it involve debugging and fixing existing code?

Evaluation: How is a candidate's performance evaluated when an AI assistant is involved? What are the core expectations?
