Pattern: 1 DSA Question + 1 Development Question (Python, C++, Spring Boot, Node.js)
What is the Development Question?
There will be a complete project workspace based on your chosen technology stack (for example, Node.js). The project may include both backend and frontend code.
Some parts of the project will contain issues such as:

Broken controller code

Faulty APIs/routes
-
Schema/model issues
-
Missing implementations that need to be completed
-
Other bugs that must be identified and fixed
Your task is to analyze the project repository, identify all issues, and fix them correctly.
An AI assistant will also be available, but it is generally not very helpful.
This section is comparatively harder than the DSA question because it involves working with a complete project codebase.
With AI changing the industry, it is important to prepare for these types of assessments.

Eventually, I found this pattern more helpful for selecting skilled and deserving candidates. Previously, 2 DSA questions were asked, which were solvable using advanced LLMs, but this can’t be done easily by LLMs as much, you need to apply your own skills and learnings to solve it.**
