[Cerebras] Post-Silicon Bring-up / Validation Interview Experience (OA & F2F)?

Hey everyone,

I have an upcoming interview loop for a Post-Silicon Bring-up / Validation Engineer role. The job description places a ton of weight on Python, so I’m trying to figure out exactly how to tailor my prep.

If anyone has recently gone through an OA or F2F loop for a similar Silicon Val/Bring-up role (especially ones that lean heavily into software/scripting), I’d love to hear about your experience!

Specifically curious about

  • OA = Is it standard SWE LeetCode (Data Structures/Algorithms) or is it more domain-specific (Bit manipulation, Array/String manipulation for parsing or even hardware MCQs)?
  • Python Depth = Since the JD emphasizes Python, how deep do they go in the F2F? Are we talking OOP design patterns, scripting automation scenarios (like log parsing/regex), or low-level bitwise operations?
  • The F2F Lab/Hardware Rounds = How do they balance coding with actual silicon debugging scenarios (like debugging I2C/PCIe hangs, register tuning, etc.)?

If you remember any specific LeetCode patterns that popped up please let me know!
Appreciate any insight, prep tips, or advice you can share.

Thanks in advance!
