Hi All,
Looking for a bit of advice.
I have my technical for Google SWE L3 in London next week or so, I've never done a technical interview (anywhere, slightly crazy) as my background is founder driven/ startup based and my professional background is heavily commercial (only been in the tech space for a bit over a year), I did an internship previously as a data enigneer but it didn't have a technical interview as was through uni and the only place I'd be want to work as a SWE outside of the startup env is Google (I have similar comp offers for PE finance but much prefer the technical side of things).
To give some context I am graduating my one year conversion Masters in CS from a top uni GPA equivalent to 4 or 5, whatever the top is (UK system different I have a bit over 85% avg where top grade is 70%)?
I've done about 75 LCs in the last week inc all the daily challenges, 50/50 easy and medium, and like 1 or 2 hards, not struggled too too much, mostly done them in docs and copied across but hadn't really touched LC previously...
Been mainly focusing on patterns and applying them (as that's what teh internet told me to do) but most of them were covered in my course anyway so haven't found stuff too too difficult (probs take on avg 20mins-1hr per question, big variance) and can normally reason about what a solution would look like, and more or less implement, but definitely lacking some precision.
Wondering if anyone has any advice on what to do in the next week where to focus etc. I've had a look online and stuff and seen good bits n bobs, but appreciate any advice for actually doing the technicals! Also if anyone has any advice on how to get better at the precision side of things, any tips/ trick etc would defo appreciate!
