I recently cleared the Google L4 interview loop and have been in the Team Matching phase for around 15 days now.

I'm trying to better understand the process and would appreciate insights from people who have gone through it recently.

A few questions:

1. If a candidate is moved to Team Matching, does that mean the Hiring Committee (HC) approval is already completed?
2. Is it possible to be in Team Matching before HC approval, or does Team Matching only start after all interview evaluations and approvals are done?
3. What is the typical timeline for Team Matching these days? I've seen experiences ranging from a few days to several months.
4. Are there any proactive steps candidates can take to improve their chances of getting matched with a team sooner?
5. Does location flexibility, immediate availability, or specific technical experience significantly impact matching speed?
6. If no team match happens for an extended period, what are the possible outcomes?

For those who have recently completed the process, how long did your Team Matching phase take?
