I had given the 1st round of interview for SSE at zynga, It was a DS/Algo round. I gave the optimal solution with the right Time and space complexities. The interviewer asked me to code and run both the brute force solution as well as the optimal solution. I wrote both, gave the correct answer with time and space complexity. I got rejected after that. saying my Time complexity analysis wasn wrong. i had cross verified after interview as well the time and space complexity and everything was correct.

The interviewer was very weird from the beginning, even when I explained him my solution, he kept saying he didn't understand my approach, and it wont work and stuff. It seemed as if he just wanted to reject me anyway from the beginning itself.

Such a terrible experience.
