2 YOE and completely lost on System Design — help!

Hey everyone,

I'm around 2 years into my career and currently looking to switch jobs. DSA prep feels manageable with Striver's sheet, but System Design has me genuinely confused about where to even begin.

What's confusing me

I don't know what companies actually expect at my experience level. Should I focus only on LLD — things like design patterns, OOP, class diagrams — or do I also need to prepare HLD like scalability, databases, distributed systems? I keep getting mixed signals.

What I'm looking for

Is there one solid resource that covers System Design the way Striver's covers DSA? Something structured where I can just follow a path and trust the process, rather than hopping between YouTube videos, blogs, and random GitHub repos.

Paid or free doesn't matter. I just want something that tells me what to study and in what order.

If you've been through this recently or have any advice on how to approach System Design prep at this stage, I'd really love to hear it!
