Directly applied on their portal, Recruiter reached out to me directly on same day as well and the call was scheduled after few days.

R1 (Machine Coding, 90 minutes) -

Design a train booking system with core functionalities :
- Search between stations
- Availability of seats
- Booking
- Cancellation and Refund - Bonus

Focus on :
- API Design
- Schema (based on Datastore)
- Near Working clean code (OOPS, SOLID principles)

• I was able to discuss the objects/classes and create the API methods as well as Service layer and Repository later codes using In memory datastructures like HashMaps. Completed the basic flow and skeleton, Though missed some corner scenarios and also didn't really complete the "Near working" code. But was overall satisfied with my attempt since I attended this interview casually just for practice. LLD is my Kryptonite anyway.

Final Verdict - Yet to receive the feedback but Not expecting them to call me back for further rounds as I know I didn't really perform as per their expectations. But a good experience overall as I gave his interview just for practice and exposure. Already have a much better offer and title (than Nielsen would have offered around 60 LPA) in hand where I will be joining soon.
