Context

I'm looking for some guidance from people who have gone through Google's team matching process recently.

For an L4 SWE role, I've completed all interview rounds:

• Initial coding screen - H/SH
• Googliness round - H/SH
• Onsite coding round 1 - H/SH
• Onsite coding round 2 - H/SH

Based on discussions with my recruiter, the feedback across the loop was positive overall, with strong signals from the interviewers. The only constructive feedback mentioned was that in one of the onsite coding rounds I could have been a bit quicker towards the end, although I was able to reach the intended solution and discuss optimizations.

The recruiter informed me that I would be moving forward to the team matching stage.

I'd appreciate hearing about recent experiences and getting a realistic understanding of where I stand in the process.

Questions

1. Does being moved to team matching generally mean the interview panel and/or hiring committee were satisfied, or are there still significant evaluation steps remaining?
2. What timelines are people seeing these days from team matching to offer, assuming a match is found?
3. Have any of you received strong interview feedback but still spent a long time in team matching or ultimately not found a match?
