i misunderstood the question completely, i was thinking we need to maximize total contiguous free time by rescheduling at most k meetings, and hence i started thinking in completely wrong direction

i am regretting now that i should have asked one example input and output.

he proposed to switch question after some time, i agreed, then he came up with https://leetcode.com/problems/max-consecutive-ones-iii/description/

again, for some reason, i related this question with the first one, and and started thinking in the wrong direction again

sliding window just didn't come to my mind at all, i had solved so many of such questions, but couldn't solve it in the interview, so yeah rejected.
