Recently cleared my Google interviews (got the positive feedback 2 days back 🎉).

Current situation:

• Serving notice period in my current company
• Already have an Amazon SDE-2 offer
• Joining Amazon in ~8 days

But honestly, Google is my first preference and I would strongly prefer joining Google directly if possible.

I know the next step is team matching, and I’ve heard timelines can vary a lot. Since I’m on a tight timeline before joining Amazon, I wanted advice from people who’ve been in a similar situation.

What can I do to speed up the team matching process?

• Should I actively reach out to recruiters/hiring managers?
• Is there a way to improve visibility for matching?
• Does joining another company impact matching urgency?
• Any tips that genuinely helped you get matched faster?

Would really appreciate any advice or experiences from people who went through Google HC/team match recently.
