At first couldn't think about the solution but interviewer gave me a good hint and i solved but couldn't give them a working code due to time.
Verdict - passed - interviewer was really helpful
F2F rounds same day-
Round 2(AI round) :
I was to design a full working application playo in 30 mins using AI. Was allowed to use any AI. I used cursor AI. This round was done in batches of 5-6 people with 1 interviewer. I solved it first and showed to interviwer and was asked to explain the code.He also checked my prompts with AI to evaluate.
Verdict - passed.
After 10 mins was asked to come for LLD
Round 3(LLD round 1hr) :
I was asked to design a Risk Analysis engine. Dont remember the full requirements. But it was like internal loan application tool for them. Asked me to design LLD with Apis and then hld about scaling ,db and a few edge cases.
Verdict - passed (Strong hire)- interviewer was really nice to talk to.
After 10 mins was asked to come for HLD
Round 4(HLD round 1 hr)- He asked me to Design Rate Limiter
Interviewer was really rude. Didn't even tell me his name. No Greeting. straight to my introduction. In the same moment I knew he came to reject me. Started with my project discussion. Asked me pretty rage baiting questions about my project. About 30 mins in interview. I was already tired of arguing. Then started the worst part , he asked me to deisgn Rate Limiter . As usualy I started with a flow of uses case then FR then NFR. But as I was writing FR on the board started asking me useless questions about RL. I explained the alogrithms related to it. he asked me useless questions related to sliding window, as if he knew nothing about SW. Then in the end I designed it. He was beign passive aggresive and int the just said Thanks and lef the room.
Verdict - Rejected.
Last round which was pending was HM round. Which was not a elimination round.
Lesson learned- Interviewers dont always come to hire you. :)
