Google Interview Retake: Do Interviewers See Previous Questions or Vary Problem Types?

Hi everyone,

I have a question about Google interviews and how they are structured across attempts.

Last year, I went through the full process and passed all technical rounds, but was not selected in the end. During my interviews, I mostly got problems related to strings/stack (e.g., similar to Decode String) also dp and backtracking and did not encounter graph problems.

Now I’m preparing again and I’m wondering:

Do interviewers have access to the types of problems I was asked or how I performed previously?
Do they intentionally vary the problem types in a new interview cycle (e.g., if I didn’t get graphs before, should I expect graphs this time)?
Or is each interview completely independent with randomly selected questions?

Would really appreciate insights from anyone who has gone through multiple Google interview loops.

Thanks!
