I gave my Apple interview 2 weeks back and the screening round with the hiring manager. She asked me questions about my past experience and asked a questions on strings which I correctly answered. The recruiter called today and said that the hiring Manager's feedback was positive and she had a good conversation with me. But upon internal review they found that the headcount is no longer needed. She then aksed if I am open to being considered for other roles to which I answered yes and she said she would get back to me upon discussing my profile with the other HMs. What are the chances that I will be considered for some other position? If you were in a similar situation did you hear back from them?
