Hello! Recently(2 weeks ago) I had an opportunity to participate in interviews at Google - online technical and Googliness
A couple of days ago I got a call with the recruiter and I was notified that I didn't make it... Was told that I almost passed the barrier (I believe it's a common thing to say for people who failed). I was also told that I would have an opportunity to apply only after 12 months from now.
Not gonna lie, it's a bit frustrating to hear that. These were my first ever interviews at Big Tech and my recent relocation to a new place made me feel like I could change something right here and now. I thought I did pretty well, but my expectations and reality didn't quite match, as we can see. But whatever - it is what it is.
So here is the reason I'm writing this crap post. If you had a similar situation from the cruel IT world? Vent freely under the post.
Bye :)
