Hi everyone,

I applied for the Microsoft SDE Intern role (through referral) in November 2025, but my application status on the Microsoft Careers portal still shows "Submitted" even after several months.

I haven't received any update, interview invite, or rejection email yet.

Has anyone experienced the same situation where the status stayed "Submitted" for a long time?
Does it usually mean the application is still under review, or is it likely that the position has already been filled and the portal just wasn't updated?

If anyone applied around the same time and got an update, please share your experience.
