I recently completed 3 rounds of interviews with Microsoft for an SDE role. My R3 was finished last Tuesday, and since then I have not received any update from the HR.

I tried messaging and calling the recruiter but haven't received any response yet. In previous cases I have seen, candidates were usually contacted by Friday of the same week to schedule the next round (R4).

Currently, my application status still shows "Interview", so I am a bit confused about the situation.

Has anyone gone through a similar experience with Microsoft?
How long does it usually take to hear back after R3 before scheduling R4?

Also, if the candidate is rejected, does HR usually inform them or does the application just stay in interview status for a while?

Would really appreciate if anyone who has recently interviewed with Microsoft could share their experience.
