I recently got the interview opportunity at Morgan Stanley.

Role - SWE(Data engineering)

Applied through referral

got a recruiter call after approx 1 month, discussed short intro, work experience, tech stack.

Moved to R1(with a Senior Data engineer) - Discussed current role and responsibilities, around 5 good level SQL questions, Airflow basics, ETL/Data modelling concepts. CDC, Incremental data load implementation discussion. Different types of file formats Json, parquet, how data js internally stored in them and oros/cons of using them. Query optimization Techniques.

Received a feedback in 4 days

Moved to Round 2(With VP) - Deep conversation about the current working project, what my day looks like as a Data engineer, Data modelling questions, scenario based modelling, SCDs, Star/Snowflake schema, Medallion architecture, Airflow DAGs designing and Some sql queries around window functions.

I think I messed up in some of points in R2. (reached out to Recruiter, but she is not responding so ig its rejection :( )

Grateful for the opportunity.
