Show that you are the Master of it. Explain how you use it to refactor code for better $O(n)$ space complexity.

2. The "Niche" Salary PremiumIf you have basic DSA skills, you might get 6–8 LPA. But if you add Cybersecurity (Zero Trust) or Cloud Architecture (Azure/AWS) to your profile, GCCs are paying a 30% premium. We’re talking 15 LPA+ for freshers.The Tip: Stop trying to solve 1,000 random problems. Solve 200 smart problems, then spend that extra time building a project that uses Kubernetes or MLOps. That’s what the high-paying roles in Bengaluru and Hyderabad are hunting for right now.

3. The "Tier-2" AdvantageDon't be obsessed with only Bengaluru or Pune. In 2026, "Silicon Beach" (coastal Karnataka) and cities like Kochi, Indore, and Coimbatore are becoming GCC mini-hubs. They have lower attrition, and the competition is slightly lower, but the pay is still top-tier.

My friendly advice for today:The market is open (up 15% this month!), but it’s punishing those who rest on "legacy credentials." Your degree gets you the link; your Proof of Work (live GitHub projects, niche certifications) gets you the offer.Take 20 minutes today to update your LinkedIn headline with a specific skill—don't just say "Student."
