Hi everyone,
I have tomorrow technical interview with Apple for an Software Engineer (Java) role (0–3 years experience), focused on backend development. The round is a 60-minute CoderPad session and mainly tests Core Java, data structures, and problem-solving.
I wanted to ask if anyone has recently interviewed for a similar role and could share insights on:
Difficulty level (Easy/Medium/Hard)?
Commonly asked topics (arrays, HashMap, linked list, LRU, trees, etc.)?
Was it more algorithm-focused or practical Java coding?
Any emphasis on object-oriented design?
Any surprises or specific preparation tips?
Would really appreciate any recent experiences or guidance
